“Somethings Can Be Fixed”
A powerful stop-frame animation using an inanimate object — a teddy bear — to represent the lasting impact of child abuse.
Bear Motion brought a creative and emotionally resonant approach to this sensitive subject, illustrating the evolving cycle of abuse and how its scars stay with children long after the events themselves. To deliver this message effectively, the entire film was animated and shot in reverse, using a controlled tracking move that slowly pushes in toward the bear. Achieving this required precise frame-by-frame execution, made possible through the use of Motion Control and the Milo rig, giving us full control over every movement and transition.
Shot in 8K on the Canon 5DS, the production allowed for maximum flexibility in post and a pristine 4K final delivery. The ad was filmed entirely on a custom-built set at Curzon Street Studios, constructed around the Milo to ensure seamless integration between practical elements and camera motion.
